John Zorn was sitting in Los Angeles, and as a teenager played piano, guitar and flute.
Before releasing albums on several American and Mediterranean labels, Allen signed with the Elektra-Nonesuch label and attracted wide acclaim in 1988 with his interpretations of cinema composed by Coltrane, the album [link widoczny dla zalogowanych] in 1987 and the first album by Naked City in 2000.
Early minor compositions excluded a lot of "game pieces", in which performers are not allowed to imagine while following certain structural rules.
